The new version of the DBN is run alot like the Linkexchange service that many of you are familiar with. You will now be given access to your own account, and you can change your banners or site location as often as you like. You may also see your daily and overall stats.
Also like the LinkExchange, the number of times that your banner gets displayed depends on the number of times that you display banners for others. The ratio is 1:1 so every time a banner is displayed on your site, your banner will be displayed 1 time. There is also a new system that prevents your banner from being displayed on your own site. So now there is a real advantage of putting up a banner on every page... that let's you display more banners, giving you more displays on others sites.
You may also have as many banners as you wish. What this means is that your account can hold as many banners to display for your site as you like. This does not mean that you get more exposure. Each time you account comes to the top of the rotation to be displayed, it will pick at random one of your banners to display for that time. Then the next time your account comes up it will randomly pick again. When it comes to placing banners on your pages, please place them in parts of your site that will be well seen by your visitors. You would expect others to do the same for you. If you are going to put the banner on the bottom of your page, be warned, in order for a display to count, the banner must be fully loaded before the visitor leaves the page, so if the banner is on the bottom, the more chance there is of the viewer clicking on a link while the page is still loading.
