The DBN is in no way responsible for the banners placed on the exchange. While every precaution is taken so that we can to make sure all banners remain clean, there are those who will try and beat the system.
The DBN has the right to place very specific non-Disney banners on the network. If this does occur, it will only be to sponsors of the dbn to defray costs of running the network. Sponsors will be carefully selected and banners carefully watched to maintain the child like atmosphere of the Disney sites on which they will be displayed.
Due to the fact that the DBN does not have control over sites placed on the DBN, extra precautions must be taken to protect ourselves. I hope you understand.
Banner Requirements
400x40 pixels in size
Maximum size of 12kb
Animation is ok
Cannot be transparent
Must be located on a perminant server at the time you submit your site, and for as long as you are a member of the DBN. (Xoom.com members, you must find another server to host your banner, because Xoom does not allow other servers to use thier images).
As always, all banners must be 100% child-friendly.
Web Site Requirements
All web sites must be 100% child-friendly.
Must be totaly Disney (personal information is ok).
Other Notes
Once you submit your site to the DBN, you will be given the code to place on your page(s). Do not edit the sizes of the images!! If you do, your account will be deleted.
Banners cannot be placed in pop-up windows, and cannot be placed in a page that has auto-reload.
